About Raphah Foundation

RAHPHAH Foundation was founded on the belief that healing is not a luxury, it is a right. We exist to dismantle the barriers that prevent marginalized communities from accessing mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) care: barriers rooted in poverty, cultural stigma, systemic neglect, and health inequity.

The name RAHPHAH is rooted in Jeremiah 30:17 and the Hebrew concept of restoration, to heal, to restore, and to make whole. Each letter of our name reflects a pillar of our work: Research, Advocacy, Healing, Practice, Hope, Action, and Humanity. This is not just our identity. It is our method.
